Make an appointment, and the local surveyor will attend your property at the agreed day and time and typically come out within 24 hours to survey the damage and produce a reinstatement schedule.

Once a mandate has been signed by the client instructing Orbis3 to manage the claim a reinstatement schedule is sent within 24 hours to the insurance company. A reinstatement schedule is a written description of the work that needs to be carried out to return the property to its pre-loss condition.

Upon receipt, the insurance company will nominate an independent third party (e.g. loss adjustor) to attend the property to validate the claim. Orbis3 will attend the same appointment, acting on behalf of the insured, and at the same time, securing the necessary authorisation to carry out the reinstatement works based on Orbis3’s reinstatement schedule.

All costs incurred by Orbis3 will be included in the reinstatement schedule authorised and paid by the insurance company direct to Orbis3.

Orbis3 will then make the necessary arrangements at the client’s convenience to commence the authorised reinstatement works.
